Grants Pass police arrested a 42-year-old woman in connection with a stabbing Wednesday night.

The arrest was linked to a 911 call at about 8:30 p.m. coming from a home in the 1000 block of Northeast A Street, the police department said.

Dispatchers heard a disturbance in the background, and patrol units responding to the scene discovered a 39-year-old man had been stabbed in the upper body, police said.
